Shonto Ranch, Kerrville

Set in the heart of the Texas Hill Country just a few miles outside of Kerrville, Texas, Shonto Ranch is home of some of the most beautiful scenery that the Hill Country has to offer. Herds of wildlife, miles of crystal clear, spring fed creeks and lakes, and groves of majestic oaks and pecans sprawl out over the 1000+ acres that make Shonto Ranch so special. All fishing is done from the bank so no waders are required.

Season:  Mid-November to late March.

Rates:  $300/half day for 1 angler. Additional angler $60. Third angler $60.

Misc: Catch & release only. Flies/lures and drinks provided.

Guadalupe River, Sattler

This is the only year-round river in Texas that has rainbow trout. The clear cold water below Canyon Dam is the key to sustaining this fishery.

Season:  Mid-November to late March.

Rates:  $350/half day for 1 or 2 anglers.

Misc: Catch & release only. Flies/lures and drinks provided.

Joshua Creek, Boerne

This ranch is a rare combination of natural beauty, exceptional facilities, and friendly folks who cater to the shooting crowd but offer trout fishing during the winter months. All fishing is done from the bank so no waders are required.

Season:  Mid-November to late March.
